Share on:Rainbow Six Siege is getting a new patch this week that’ll take care of a couple of nasty bugs.Now that the dust has settled after the release of the Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft has now diverted its attention once again to fixing bugs and balancing the meta.The main focus of patch Y3S3.1.2 is to fix a few nasty exploits. Though the developer did intend on including balance changes in the patch initially, it instead decided to roll out the bug fixes as soon as possible while testing continues on said balance changes.First, the deployable shield vaulting bug, which prevents players from vaulting through windows whenever shields are placed perpendicular to the window, is going away.

Rainbow Six Siege Bugs
You can still deploy shields close to windows, but the game will automatically leave room for vaulting to work. There’s also the invisibility glitch, which while it can be inadvertently triggered, you’re never sure if it’s intentional or not. The bug would make the player completely invisible after the map loads.On the map Oregon, some players were able to clip through the washing machine, giving them an unfair advantage. This has been fixed.Though no specific release day was announced for patch Y3S3.1.2, it is coming this week. However, this only applies to the PC version.
